How to Write a Joke When The World Isn't Funny

PMI Co-founder Kevin Bleyer presented at TEDx Stanford in April 2017 to discuss how comedy and satire help people make sense of political realities that seem stranger than fiction. When one doesn't know whether to laugh or cry at the news of the day, should one joke the joke?

During Kevin's talk, he explained the importance of laughing at no laughing matters. After passing on trade secrets in joke architecture, Kevin implored the audience to engage in satirical comedy, because the jokes don't write themselves, and a good joke can provide relief and wisdom in our journey of political perseverance.
